Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) presents:

NY40 MARILEE: Restoration of a Herreshoff Classic
Directed by: Alison Langley

Flickers Arts Collaborative has worked for the past 36 years to make Rhode Island a hub of activity for filmmakers and supporters of the arts, and our organization draws in over 46,000 attendees annually. Our main annual event, The Rhode Island International Film Festival, is an official Oscar Qualifying festival in the categories of Live Action, Documentary, and Animated Short Film. In addition, RIIFF also serves as a qualifying festival for the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television Canadian Screen Awards. There are only 10 festivals worldwide that share these distinctions. Last year’s festival grand prize winner, The Silent Child, had its world premiere at RIIFF’s opening night ceremony at PPAC, and went on to win the Oscar for Best Live Action Short.
