Preschool Storytime
Preschool storytime is an independent early literacy program for children ages 3-5. This 45-minute storytime meets Mondays at 10:30 AM or Wednesdays at 1:30 PM for stories, songs, finger plays and a simple theme-related craft. These storytimes are designed as a pre-school experience to build reading readiness, listening, verbal and motor skills, and develop a love of books, all while interacting in a group setting with their peers.
*This program is free and open to area residents. Registration is required.
Toddler Storytime
“Toddler Tales & Tunes” is an early literacy lapsit program for children ages 18-36 months and their parent or caregiver. This 30-minute storytime meets twice a month, Thursdays at 10:30 AM, for stories, songs, rhymes and time spent with our Discovery Box. Our Discovery Box is filled with fun, educational toys designed to develop cognitive skills, fine motor skills and encourage dramatic play. A great way for toddlers to develop social skills in a safe setting.
