Borrow, Renew, and Pay Fines

Click here to manage your account. You can place items on hold, renew items, and pay fines on the online catalog.

Loan Periods
Three weeks for all books, audiobooks, and digital download titles.
One week for video, music, and magazines.

Renewals
Materials may be renewed in person, by telephone, or via the online catalog.

Fines

No fines are assessed on Tiverton-owned materials, however, patrons must still return items on time to avoid being billed for overdue materials. Replacement fees are still assessed on lost or damaged items.
For materials owned by other libraries: patrons should check with an item’s owning library on their overdue policy as several RI public libraries still assess fines on overdue materials.

You may pay in person at the library or online.

Holds
Patrons must bring the library card on which they placed the hold in order to pick up the item unless your cards are linked. Items will be held for one week unless other arrangements are made.

Book Drop
Return boxes are available for patrons’ convenience. At Union library, they are located near the main entrance. At Tiverton Public Library there is an outdoor drive-up window.
