Everyone Was a Farmer

Monday, March 28th 2022, 7:00-8:00pm, Community Room

Little Compton Historical Society Executive Director Marjoy O'Toole will share the highlights of the Society's newest exhibition, "Everyone Was A Farmer." The exhibit fills both floors of the Historical Society's nineteenth-century barn and tells the story of farming in Little Compton from the time of the Sakonnet People to the present day. It is the first permanent exhibit the Society has created in over 40 years. Many of the lessons learned while researching and curating the exhibit will also apply directly to the historic farming families of Tiverton.
