Wednesday, September 18th, 2pm in the Trustees Room
‘Spirituality and Politics’ is a new book group to engender conversations about topics of faith and politics. For the first gathering, we will read Shameless: A Sexual Reformation by Nadia Bolz-Weber. While this is a book primarily about gender identity and human sexuality, it also gives a broader picture of Christian theology than what one finds in the newspaper headlines. For those of a particular religion or faith – or none – this book group seeks to provide a forum for participants to connect and discuss important spiritual and social topics.
