Tails & Tales Community Storytelling Series: Tiverton Tales with the Tiverton Historical Society

Monday, August 2, 2021, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Susan Anderson writes “Tales of Tiverton” for the Tiverton Historical Society’s website as well as the Sakonnet Times. She will share some of these fascinating and quirky tales with us in this program.

The Tiverton Historical Society is a nonprofit educational institution that promotes an understanding of the history of the Town of Tiverton, Newport County, and adjacent portions of Southern Massachusetts by collecting, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting that history and its relationship to the region and nation. Susan Anderson is the Outreach and Education Coordinator of the Historical Society and has delighted our patrons with presentations on various topics of local historical interest.

Click below to register. This presentation will be offered via Zoom. You will have the option to join us from home or watch with us in the Community Room!

Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired for library programs must contact the Library Director's office 48 hours in advance of the program date. This series is made possible through funding provided by the Friends of Tiverton Libraries and by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through an appropriation by the Rhode Island General Assembly, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and private funders.
