Children’s Library guidelines: Masks are required for all those entering the Children’s Library regardless of vaccination status.
If you are unable or unwilling to wear a required mask that follows RIDOH guidelines, contact the Library Director’s Office prior to your visit to discuss accommodations.

Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after touching surfaces or library materials.
Plan Your Visit
Browsing is available in most areas of the library. To ensure the health and safety of our young friends, the Children’s Library is open at a limited capacity. Porch Pick-Up and Drive-Thru services are still available for all patrons.
Return Items in Book Drops
We are accepting returns via our book drops. Materials are no longer quarantined.
Monitor Your Health
Please do not use library services or return materials if you or a family member are ill.
A limited number of computers are available for up to 90 minutes per day per patron. Technology instruction will be unavailable until a later date.
Tables and Chairs
Tables and chairs are available on our outdoor terrace and throughout the main area of the library.
The Friends of the Library can accept up to 1 grocery bag or box of books per person per visit.
Meeting Rooms Open for Drop-In Use

The Book Nook is open during our building hours!
- One patron in the space at a time.
- All payments can be deposited in the honor box on the Info Desk.
- Library staff are not able to make change so plan purchases accordingly.
- The Friends of the Library can accept up to 6 donation books per person per visit.
