Library patrons must wear a mask that completely covers their mouth and nose while in the library, using outdoor pick-up services, or dropping off materials in the outdoor book drop.
If you are unable or unwilling to wear a required mask that follows RIDOH guidelines, contact the Library Director’s Office prior to your visit to discuss accommodations.
Wash Your Hands
Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after touching surfaces or library materials.
Limits on Capacity and Time
Capacity is limited. Visits should not exceed 30 minutes. Browsing is available in most areas of the library.
Return Items in Book Drops
We are only accepting returns via our book drops. Materials will be quarantined for 72 hours.
Monitor Your Health
Please do not use library services or return materials if you or a family member are ill.
Limited Computer Access
A limited number of computers are available for up to 30 minutes per day per patron. Technology instruction will be unavailable until a later date.
Tables and Chairs Unavailable
Tables, chairs, and newspapers are unavailable in an effort to reduce shared surfaces/items.
The Friends of the Library can accept up to 6 donation books per person per visit.
Meeting Rooms Closed
Meeting rooms will remain closed to the public until further notice and we are not currently accepting reservations.
The Book Nook is open during our building hours!
- One patron in the space at a time.
- All payments can be deposited in the honor box on the Info Desk.
- Library staff are not able to make change so plan purchases accordingly.
- The Friends of the Library can accept up to 6 donation books per person per visit.
