Stress is a widespread state of mind that thwarts our ability to enjoy life and robs our ability to experience peace of mind and revel in happiness. There is a simple, yet profound, alternative: meditation. By understanding where our stress starts, we can develop a capability that shows us how a peaceful mind can improve the way we respond to the challenges stress invokes. We can choose to remain calm in any storm. Discover an inner source of happiness and enjoy peace and clarity of mind, regardless of your surroundings. This session will be led by Gen Kelsang Chokyi, Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher at Atisha Kadampa Buddhist Center (AKBC) in Providence, RI.
