Murals of Tiverton’s History, Place, Peoples and Community.

Artists Mika Seeger and Peter Geisser are creating three large ceramic murals in the Tiverton Public Library. This endeavor is building community across generations and socio-economic groups through direct participation in the arts, and will create a lasting reflection of the community. The artists will create the murals in Stoneware Sculptural Relief and mosaic, focusing on the story and landscape of Tiverton. The two murals will relate to each other but have unique perspectives. For examples of Mika and Peter’s work go to Community Projects at www.petergeisser.net.
